Government to create cyber security reserve force - Business ...

Cabinet office minister Francis Maude unveiled on Monday plans to form a reserve force of cyber security experts to tackle the growing threat to business and support the military in times of crisis.

This cyber reserves team will be established alongside a new British Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Maude said that industry ?suffers at the hands of such threats?. Internet-related business in the UK is estimated to be worth ?82 billion a year.
